PARENT VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Parent Volunteer: Cub Scout Pack 30 needs many parent volunteers. Registered Parent volunteers are committee members and are able to provide back up support when leaders need assistance. This support is at your availability- not necessarily every week or every activity.  However, all volunteers must have the proper training in order to serve with the Pack.

Proper training is required in order to insure the safety and protection of our scouts, our volunteers and our organization. Taking required training ensures that all volunteers understand things like safety and basic first aid for activities, meeting requirements, appropriate responses to behavior concerns (if they occur), appropriate actions for youth protection concerns and how to remain safe in hazardous weather.

PARENT VOLUNTEER TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Youth Protection, Fast Start, Hazardous Weather, Committee Member Training.

PARENT VOLUNTEER FORMS NEEDED: Turn in the above certificates with your completed adult registration form and health form.

PACK LEADER TRAINING

A Cub Scout Adult Leader is considered fully trained and entitled to wear the Trained leader emblem when he or she has completed the following training courses and the specific training for the position.

Fast Start Training: The first step for all new adult volunteers and leaders.

Youth Protection Training: Required for all registered scouters. At all times youth safety is the number one priority. Comprehensive Youth Protection training teaches all the do's and dont's of working with youth.
